What's in the Immersive Experience Room right now?
Van Gogh’s artworks and life are transformed into a four-part spatial narrative, with digital interpretations and futuristic predictions. We begin by stepping into his subconscious and then witness the beginnings of his career. We follow the sunlight with him to the South, where he paints many signature works. His manic episodes take us to his hospital room in Saint Rémy, where he recreates endless scenery through his confinement window. The first part of the journey ends as through his eyes, paintings turn into living sceneries and futuristic 3D environments. The experience continues with its final scene in the Hyper Reality Room.

Part 1
Subconsciousness / Life fragments / Nuenen / Paris / Japonaiserie / Arles
We begin with Van Gogh’s subconscious, moving through key periods of his life with his letters, sketches, and brushstrokes as guides. His portraits of workers, the influence of Japanese art, and his Paris years unfold gradually. We even step into works like The Potato Eaters and Almond Blossoms to experience them as if inside the paintings.
Part 2
Travelling South / Arles / Depression / Manic Episode / Cutting the Ear / Saint Rémy / Saint Paul Asylum
This part traces Van Gogh’s move southward “in search of light.” We follow him through the fields of Arles, step into his Bedroom in Arles and Sunflowers, and witness visionary interpretations of his style—fractals in sunflowers, or psychedelic corridors of Saint Paul. Through sound and color, we reimagine moments like the aftermath of cutting his ear.
Part 3
Saint Paul Asylum / Saint Rémy / His Unique Style / Expressionism / Living Paintings / Imaginary Landscapes
Here, his signature works—Starry Night, Starry Night Over the Rhone, Wheatfields with Crows—come alive as immersive landscapes. Paintings blend into abstract, dreamlike worlds, pulling us into futuristic environments.
